| USSA is still considering equipment changes for 2008-09 season. New equipment rules will only affect JII's, JI's, and Seniors. Masters, J3's, J4, and J5's are not affected by the new equipment rules. Below is a list of the equipment rules that will be enforced this year(2007-08) regarding minimum ski length and a minimum turn radius for skis. The table below represents USSA's minimum ski lengths for the upcoming season.
The table below represents USSA's new minimum turn radius rulings for both men and women competitors.
Stack height from base of ski to sole of boot, measured at the heel, is 50mm. If you have any questions regarding the new equipment rules from USSA, please contact your local race coach.
