Every year we have a two day ski/board swap here at Mountainside Ski & Sports. This gives you a great chance to sell your old skis, snowboards, boots, clothing, and equipment on consignment, whether you are looking to get new equipment or make some cash! The swap is hosted here at Mountainside and is run by the Ski Roundtop Ski Patrol. All of the commission fees from the swap go towards funding the Ski Patrol and allows them to update their safety equipment. Below is all the information about how the Ski Swap works. Please feel free to call us regarding any questions that you may have about the information below.
This is a great chance for you to get good used equipment and accessories for the upcoming season and see the new 2016/17 equipment and clothing. Volunteer Ski Patrol staff will be on hand to help aid in finding what you're looking for.
Bring your ski/snowboard equipment and clothing to Mountainside the week of October 3rd - 9th. All items will be priced and tagged for the sale on Saturday and Sunday October 8th & 9th. We will also accept items for the sale the morning of Saturday the 8th beginning at 8am. Volunteer members of the Ski Patrol will be available to help with the check-in process.
All equipment must meet current industry standards. All clothing must be CLEAN, in good condition, and not more than three years old. Skis over 190cm will not be accepted.
You will have two options regarding the sale of an item. 1. you can choose to have 100% of your sale put towards a store credit at Mountainside, or 2. a 20% commission will be charged with the proceeds going to the Ski Patrol if the cash option is chosen.
